Independent Medical Evaluation (IME)

Objective Medical Opinions for Hand & Upper Extremity Cases

An Independent Medical Evaluation (IME) is a neutral, third-party medical assessment performed by a physician who has not been involved in the patient’s treatment. At Comprehensive Hand Surgery Center, IMEs are conducted by Dr. David Galpern, a board-certified hand and upper extremity surgeon with extensive expertise evaluating complex injuries.

Our goal is to provide clear, unbiased medical opinions that support attorneys, insurers, and claims professionals in making informed, confident decisions.
